Lovely villages each
with its own individual character,
steeped in hundreds of years of local
history, some in sea-side locations,
others in quieter, more tucked away
places, all possessing interesting
and varied properties, many with some
of the best views in Wales.

The busy former fishing village of Mumbles, being set at the end of the impressive sweep of the Swansea Bay, is a well known destination for holidays as well as being a vibrant residential area, enjoying numerous restaurants, pubs and attractive shops/boutiques, with a substantial selection of former fisherman’s cottages, prices starting at around as little as £150,000.
For the outdoor type, Mumbles and Gower offer numerous opportunities with world famous surfing and hand gliding venues , renowned sea fishing, magnificent riding country, four 18 hole golf courses whilst the thousands of acres of common land, the miles of public rights of way and coastal paths make this the walkers paradise with Mumbles being a mecca for the sailor, boasting two yacht clubs a rowing club and some of the most sheltered waters for miles.
For the not so adventurous what could be better than sitting outside the Worms Head Hotel in Rhossili, watching the sun set over Carmarthen Bay or for those cold winter days gathered around a warming fire in the King Arthur Hotel, Reynoldston. |
